If by chance your summer or autumn wanderings will take you to Spokane, the “Frank S. Matsura, Portraits from the Borderland” Exhibition at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture there seems worth visiting.

The Issei photographer made a deep impression on Okanogan County residents through the superb photos he took of them during 1903 – 1913.
