Song of the Earth

Yuichi Kimura and Daichi no Kai return to America for their second U.S Taiko drum tour, “Song of the Earth”!
“Daichi no Kai” is a Taiko drumming group founded in 2011 by Taiko drummer Yuichi Kimura. Kimura has held a concert in the U.S every year since 2014. Kimura and all of the members of Daichi no Kai were born in Hyogo Prefecture. Their purpose is to promote the art of Taiko to the world through their performances and Taiko workshops.
The name “Daichi no Kai” originates from Daichi (Earth), the piece Kimura composed in requiem for the Hanshin Earthquake. Under this name, the group seeks to guide future generations in understanding the value of life and peace on earth.
