Emerging Radiance Artists’ Talk

Join Michelle Kumata and Tani Ikeda in a hybrid presentation as they share their artistic journeys and collaborative work on Emerging Radiance: Honoring the Nikkei Farmers of Bellevue. The artists’ talk will include individual presentations, Q&A, and a short tour of the installation.

Emerging Radiance is a multimedia art installation that honors the untold stories of Japanese American farmers who lived in Bellevue, WA from 1920 to 1942. It will be on display at the Bellevue Library until Feb. 2027.
