Summer Thunder: Taiko at Kubota Garden
Three local taiko groups will perform taiko drumming sets for a thunderous garden experience! Bring your own lawn/ beach chairs or blankets and a picnic.
Date: Sunday, August 24th
Time: The performance is from 1pm – 3pm.
Location: The event will take place at Kubota Garden’s Terrace Overlook (follow signs from the entry). The Garden’s address is 9817 55th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118.
Accessibility: A shuttle service is available from the Garden’s Entry Plaza to the Terrace from 12:30pm – 1:30pm and from the Terrace back to the Entry Plaza from 2:30 – 3:30pm. If you plan on utilizing this shuttle service, please email sophia@kubotagarden.org.
Parking: Parking at the Garden is available but limited. There is additional street parking on 55th Ave S and Renton Ave S. As with all public parks, we encourage you to leave valuables at home. If you must bring them, store them out of sight before you reach the Garden.
