APIA and McDonald’s Scholarship
January 9 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The last day to apply for the APIA Scholarship is on January 15th, 2025!
Asian & Pacific Islander America (APIA) Scholars offers a range of scholarships to support students who identify as Asian American.
McDonald’s, in collaboration with APIA Scholars, has been empowering college students through financial support and expanded access to higher education. This year, it announced another round of funding. With the scholarship application closing soon, we wanted to share a story about one recipient who thrived from receiving this.
Among the many scholarship winners is, Daisy Panhilason, a 2021 recipient who is now a nursing student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Her incredible journey of resilience and transformation is nothing short of inspiring. She shared her story recently as a student speaker at McDonald’s APA Next Summit, on a panel moderated by actors Ming-Na Wen (Mandalorian) and Ramona Young (Never Have I Ever).
