Seattle Veterans Group to Host Peace Memorial Event in 1957

Nisei Veterans Committee (NVC) Commander Patrick Hagiwara will speak in the Veterans Day peace program on Nov. 11. This program will be hosted by the veterans’ groups in the Seattle area at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Washelli at 10:45 a.m. This will be the eighth year.

In addition to Hagiwara’s speech, the patriotic annual event themed “peace and friendship for all people” will also feature a lighting ceremony for “peace and friendship” by NVC’s women’s group.10
