Seattle International Butoh Festival November 14-23, 2025
DAIPANbutoh Collective is pleased to announce its Seattle International Butoh Festival 2025, which will take place November 14 through November 23 at YAW Theater in Georgetown. This fall’s festival with performances and workshops will take place over two weekends featuring María Belén Espinosa Peña/Requiem Compania Danza-Teatro & Natalia Cuéllar/Ruta de la Memoria (Chile) in weekend one and Atsushi Takenouchi JINEN Butoh with musician Hiroko Komiya (Italy/Japan) in week two. DAIPAN members Helen Thorsen, Joan Laage/Kogut Butoh, Sheri Brown and Kaoru Okumura will also perform in week one; Dhyana Garcia and Alycia Scott Zollinger plus local guest Lin Lucas will perform in week two.
