A seminar for Japanese government scholarship recipients was held at the Consulate General of Japan in Seattle on March 22. Mathew Topping, who received the research scholarship for his study at Ryukyu University in Okinawa, and three members of Amanogawa, an alumni association of the scholarship recipients, for Japanese international students joined the meeting to share information about Japan’s college life. The seminar was also open for those who may consider applying to the scholarship in the future. Two local students joined the seminar and asked questions about the scholarship.
