Okaji-mochi for Sale

Jingoji Buddhist Temple will sell “Okaji-mochi” Blessed Pound Rice at the end of the year. That pound rice is made cleanly and offered to Fudo-myo-o, the main deity of the Temple, to bless for the new year. It is full of auspicious, prosperous and protective power of the deity.
There are 2 types of Okaji-mochi: kagami-mochi and ko-mochi.
Kagami-mochi: $12. ( 1 pound with an orange topping and ferns)
Ko-mochi: $8. (8 pieces,1 pound)
These are good for New Year’s Day decoration and the cuisine.
If you like to order it, please send email to the temple or make phone call to them by Thursday, December 26. For those who ordered it please come to the Temple to pick it up between Saturday (Dec. 28) and Sunday (Dec. 29). The pick-up time can be set by appointment.
