Ikebana Art at the Garden
The Sogetsu Seattle Branch will present “Ikebana Art at the Garden,” an exhibition of Japanese floral art, to be held at the Bellevue Botanical Garden Aaron Education Center, on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, 2026 The exhibition will celebrate 100 years of Sogetsu ikebana. The Sogetsu School was founded by Sofu Teshigahara in Tokyo in 1927 and is celebrating its 100 th anniversary from April 2026 through March 2028.
Exhibition hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Ikebana demonstrations will be presented from 1 to 3 p.m. both days. Admission is free.
