Japan<\/span>\u00a0Creative Arts and the School of\u00a0TAIKO presents\u00a0the third annual ” Bellevue World\u00a0TAIKO\u00a0Festival” which sold out event with gathering audience from all over the US in past events. Audiences can enjoy the fusion of various rhythm of the\u00a0DRUMS\u00a0which centered\u00a0Japanese\u00a0Taiko\u00a0Drums.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year,\u00a0Kenny Endo is invited as a special guest.\u00a0Kenny Endo is well known as the leading person of\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0world in US. He has an honorable achievement, being the first foreigner who became a Natori (stage name and masters license) in hogaku hayashi(classical\u00a0drumming<\/span>).\u3000Also, he has studied various\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0Drumming<\/span>\u00a0styles from masters and also stayed in\u00a0Japan<\/span>for more than ten years for studying and performing\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0drums<\/span>\u00a0in his younger era.<\/p>\n

In addition of the Kenny’s beautiful numbers, the traditional\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0numbers will performed as collaboration by Kenny and local professional\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0group CHIKIRI and also Cascades\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0Drummers<\/span>\u00a0( A group made in commemoration of the eighth anniversary of The School of\u00a0TAIKO<\/span>. ) with full of human power & spirits. Furthremore another guest performer Ian Dobson who is famous as Seattle based percussionist will create new passion with\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0Drummers<\/span>\u00a0on the stage.<\/p>\n

Audiences are strongly recommended to come to the venue on the time of doors open. The festival will have some lectures including the rare opportunity to learn the “History ofTAIKO<\/span>\u00a0in US” which will be lectured by Stan Shikuma who is the leading person of the Northwest area\u00a0Taiko<\/span>\u00a0world more than 35 years and also you will enjoy the unique knoridgement of Kimono by Mariko Kayama, founder of Kimono Art.<\/p>\n
